Sadly I am a little behind most on my favorite films of 2008 due to the fact that Tulsa does not host near enough great films. Once I see The Wrestler, Slumdog Millionaire, and Doubt I am sure that I can safely make the list of my favorite films and possibly do an Academy Awards of sorts.
In totally unrelated news, Jesse Barnes and I are beginning a comic book which I am writing and he is putting som images together to accompany. When we finish the first one we will post it on the internet for your viewing pleasure.

I guess it’s just in my nature to slip into extreme laziness. I’m ready for some sort of change, but sparking that is a bit tricky.
Christmas time came and went and it was pretty fucking weird due to a complete schedule change, I went through the archives of all of my old family videos one night without sleep and I really miss that family atmosphere, the mountain of gifts, my uncles great big beard, my grandmothers.
I also revisited the many wonderful home videos my sister and I conjured, mainly stop motion action figures and Sherlock Holmes remakes. I plan on putting these into the computer and editing the shit out of my past, really get them in there.
I’ve never made a new years resolution, but this January has got me thinking and I really want to do some prioritizing, write, edit, finish my last project godammit, shoot over the summer, maintain grades so my parents won’t be breathing down my neck, approach strangers with conversations. The key is not letting myself slip into sitting around doing nothing. My parents probably think it’s watching movies, but that’s the motivation really. Luckily they are understanding that more and more, I have a pretty obsessive nature.
I also realize I am terrible at making lasting relationships, which at my age isn’t a problem, it’s just an interesting observation, because I have had my fair share of girlfriends. Perhaps I just get wrapped up in other things, or what have you.
All I know right now is that Sera Cahoone, M83, Kings of Leon, the Muppets, Emile Hirsch, and others all kick ass.
So, if you could ever so often ask me what I’ve been up to lately that would be awesome. And if I say not much, kick my ass. I’ll try to keep up on here, thanks friends.
